Tips & Tidbits
As you probably know, February is Black History Month.
As a part of a collaborative project between The Library of Congress, National Archives and Records Administration, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Gallery of Art, National Park Service, Smithsonian Institution, and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, BlackHistoryMonth.org includes all sorts of media which pays "tribute to the generations of African Americans who struggled with adversity to achieve full citizenship in American society."
Please consider joining me in dedicating some time each week this month to read/watch/listen to some of these materials and take time to reflect on how we can center racial justice in our day-to-day work beyond this month.
