Accessing CAN Materials-

Tips & Tidbits

If you have access to HBO, I HIGHLY recommend watching Brené Brown's "Atlas of the Heart" series - specifically "Places We Go With Others - And the Framework For Meaningful Connections"

The emphasis of this episode is on how to practice empathy while maintaining healthy boundaries. In our profession, it can be so easy to take home the pain and trauma our families are experiencing and this is a great reminder for ways we can meet our families where they need to be met while also not enmeshing our own emotions.
